Special showing of "Where Once They Mattered" documentary on the Newfoundland Pony. Meet a Newfoundland pony too!
Attend a special showing of the 2015 documentary "Where Once They Mattered" about the plight of the Newfoundland Pony at the River Street Theatre in Jaffrey NH. The story covers the rescue of a herd of ponies and 4000 mile journey to their homeland of Newfoundland in 2014. Ponies in the film are cousins to ponies of Villi Poni Farm, some of whom will be at the theatre for a meet and greet before the show. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the ponies at Villi Poni Farm.

"There are only 400 Newfoundland Ponies left in the world - and on a farm in British Columbia, 20 are facing possible death from neglect and abandonment. A horse hauling team from Calgary is engaged to rescue the ponies and make the continent-wide journey to bring them home to Newfoundland and Labrador. It’s a huge endeavour. And on the road, anything can happen..."
