Ron Despres Memorial Golf Classic

The Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host the 20th Annual Ron Despres Memorial Golf Classic on Monday, July 10th, at The Shattuck Golf Course in Jaffrey. The tournament promises to be an exciting day of golfing and fun-filled activities, all while raising funds for a great cause. (Rain date:  July 17th)

The Ron Despres Memorial Golf Classic is held in honor of Ron Despres, a local businessman and Chamber of Commerce member who was passionate about giving back to the community. The event is now in its 20th year and has become a beloved tradition in the Jaffrey community.

Participants in the golf tournament will enjoy a challenging round of golf on the picturesque Shattuck Golf Course, which features 18 holes of rolling greens, lush fairways, and stunning views of Mount Monadnock.

Proceeds from the tournament will go to benefit the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce, which supports local businesses and promotes economic development in the Jaffrey area. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will go to the Jaffrey War Memorial Committee and the Cheshire Children's Museum, two wonderful non-profit organizations in our community.

The event is sponsored by a variety of local businesses and organizations, including Belletetes, MilliporeSigma, Molded Devices Inc., Monadnock Disposal Services, Peard Properties, Red's of Jaffrey, and Savings Bank of Walpole.

The tournament is open to golfers of all skill levels, and the registration fee includes green fees, golf cart rental, donuts, coffee, lunch and goody bags. There will be a cash bar all day. ($400/foursome or $100/player)
