Second Annual Poker Run!

Dear Friends and Supporters:

Thanks to our event sponsors last year we were able to attract 125 motorcyclists to take part in our first Poker Run. This July the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 2nd Annual Poker Run, but we need your help!

The Poker Run will consist of motorcycle riders embarking on a ride through 15 towns in southwestern New Hampshire, stopping at designated locations to collect playing cards. At the last stop, each rider will present their hand and awards will be given out in various categories. This Chamber fundraiser will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Marty Taylor Scholarship Fund.  This scholarship, which is available to Conant High School graduates who wish to further their education in the technical or vocational field, was started in 2006 after Marty Taylor, a native of Jaffrey, was struck and tragically killed by a motorist while riding.
