The 32nd MHS Walk for Animals Reimagined
The 32nd Annual MHS Walk for Animals Reimagined! Save Lives From Your Own Favorite Walk on Saturday, September 19th! The Monadnock Humane Society is hosting a new take on its 32nd annual fundraiser - Walk for Animals - this year in the face of the ongoing pandemic. On September 19, 2020 MHS will host Walk for Animals Reimagined- a virtual take on this annual important fundraiser for the MHS. Be part of this exciting event that raises critical funds for programs that help animals, as well as the people who love them. The day of program will include a virtual video address by Kathy Collinsworth (Executive Director of MHS) and other online programming. Then our fundraisers are encouraged to take their own favorite walk so that they can be safe, socially distant and still a part of the MHS community. While we may not be able to physically walk together as we have in the past, we can still support MHS to help make the world a more compassionate place for animals and people. Get started now by registering, making a donation, and setting up a fundraising page. Then ask your friends, family, colleagues — anyone who loves animals — to support you by sponsoring your walk. Not only will every dollar you raise go directly to animals in need, but you'll also enjoy a free t-shirt, contests, raffles, prizes, and special livestreams! Proceeds from Walk for Animals Reimagined goes towards the MHS mission and makes lifesaving differences for thousands of shelter animals each year. Community support makes it possible to provide pets in need with safe shelter, medical care, rescue and rehabilitation, boarding and daycare, training services, a pet food pantry, Animal Safety Net program, and most importantly, forever homes. About MHS: Monadnock Humane Society - celebrating its 145th anniversary this year - is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 socially conscious shelter organization that serves 44 communities of the Monadnock Region.
