Oil Exhibit by Amherst, NH artist Dick Fischer

The Jaffrey Civic Center will host an oil exhibit by Amherst, NH artist, Dick Fischer. The exhibit will be held from Friday, February 15^th through March 15^th in the Cunningham Gallery. Dick Fischer started painting in oils at the age of 32. Following the advice of Artist John F. Carlson in his classic book on landscape painting, he decided he would first try to master the skill of painting in oils before moving on to the more difficult medium of watercolors. Now, 50 years later, he is “still trying to master the oil medium.” There will be an Opening Reception on Friday, Feb. 15^th with light refreshments from 5 pm to 7 pm. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

The Jaffrey Civic Center is located at 40 Main Street, Jaffrey, New Hampshire, next to Library, parking in rear. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am- 12 noon, 1
