Heritage Week and Open Barn Day
Heritage/Conservation Week and our annual Open Barn Day Attention Schools! Attention rare breed and heritage plant enthusiasts! In conjunction with the Jaffrey Open Space Committee, Villi Poni Farm will be open to visitors and schools all week long, May 20th through May 26th. Come see our informative displays and a Native American garden. Get up close and personal with North America's only indigenous pony breed, our affable Newfoundland Ponies, while you enjoy a farm tour. Tours are free and last 1 hour. Exhibits will include our Newfoundland Ponies and other heritage breeds, such as critically endangered (and adorable) Kerry Heifers, Gloucester Old Spot piglets, Anconda Ducks...and maybe more. You'll see things a Three Sister's Garden, and a Newfoundland Pony showing off it's heritage use - helping people work the land. Join us! It's also our Newfoundland colt Lucky Ace's 2nd birthday, but shhhhh, it's a surprise party!
