Join the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce for a virtual luncheon talk via Zoom with Jaffrey Town Manager, Jon Frederick.
Jon's topic will be "Jaffrey 2031 - Balancing Taxes, Budgets and Capital Planning
There will be a 30 minute presentation and then we will open the chat to allow you to ask questions.
About Jon:
- Born and raised in Auburn, NY
- Joined the United States Coast Guard in 1986. Served 20 years, retiring on October 1, 2006.
- Service included 11 ½ years of sea time aboard a cutter in Boston, an icebreaker in New York City, an icebreaker in Cleveland, OH and an afloat training group in Everett, WA. He also sailed the Coast Guard’s tall ship Eagle from Australia to New London, CT and throughout Europe.
- His two land tours included search and rescue control centers in Cape May, NJ and Boston, MA.
- Retiring with a Master’s in Public Administration, he has served as the Director of Parking and Transportation for the City of Portsmouth, NH, Town Manager for the Towns of Mapleton, Castle Hill & Chapman, Maine and is the current Town Manager for Jaffrey.
- He is a member and past president of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club.
- He lives in Jaffrey with his wife Lynette and their dogs Odin and Atticus.
- They have two children. Their son Sean is a Major in the Army at West Point, NY and their daughter Kaitlin is a Mechanical Engineer for Elbit Systems in Merrimack, NH.
