Electric Earth Concerts presents: Duo, Trio, Quartet: Ravel, Bauer and Brahms on Thursday, August 4 at 7 pm at the First Church in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. David McCarroll, violin, Angela Park, cello, and Emely Phelps, piano, join EEC’s artistic directors, Laura Gilbert and Jonathan Bagg, to play Ravel’s spectacular duo, the stunning but little-known Trio Sonata, Op. 40 by American composer Marion Bauer, and the most expansive of the Brahms piano quartets, Op. 26 in A major, Schubertian in its open-hearted lyricism. General admission is $30, payable online or with cash or checks at the door. Or, weather permitting, bring a chair or a blanket and listen outside for free, via our excellent sound system.
